E-book, Throw Me Into the Sea

£5.00

This is a digital copy.

Throw Me Into the Sea is an art and poetry zine by Lorna Rose Gill. It is a journey to self-acceptance via the landscape of the ocean. Within these poems are years of swimming against the current but they will meet you at the point of letting go, allowing the tide to pull you back to your own shore.

These poems live in the intertidal zone - the space between high and low tide. Within that liminal space, this work explores the often difficult experience of living in a woman’s body whilst acknowledging the joy of abandon. These poems are meditations at the shoreline.

The collection was written over the past five years, and illustrated especially for the book. The zine is made from fully recycled, FSC certified paper.
